NACTA honors IFAS educators
Several IFAS educators were honored as 2009 Teacher Fellows by the North American Colleges and Teachers of Agriculture (NACTA).
The awards were given at the group’s annual meeting in June, hosted by Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Okla.
The IFAS educators include: Lisa House, professor, food and resource economics; Tracy Irani, associate professor, agricultural education and communication; Alan Long, professor, forest resources and conservation; Gail Kauwell, professor, food science and human nutrition; Brian Myers, associate professor, agricultural education and communication; and Grady Roberts, associate professor, agricultural education and communication.
