The premise: IFAS and the University of Florida have long played a central role in the story of Florida and this nation's agricultural development. This saga has been documented in letters, art, research/government documents and photographs for more than a century.

Unfortunately, there are a few photographs from UF's agricultural golden years that come with little or no description...so, we thought we would just take a guess.

And, we encourage you to, as well.

Here's the funny:

"Why can't the four-leaf clover fashion industry just accept that not every clover is a size 4? Plus-size clovers enjoy fashion, too! We want to wear the same stylish clothes as everyone else, just a little bigger. What's wrong with that?"--Mickie Anderson

"I just got back from 4H animal camp and all I got was this dumb T-shirt."--Janice the secretary

"All that was left of little Billy after he was eaten by a monstrous mascot was his white t-shirt. He will be missed."--Adam Naim

"Producer J.J. Abrams today revealed the monster from his hush-hush science-fiction film, 'Cloverfield,' set for release Jan. 18. Geeks worldwide responded with 'um, I guess that explains the title, huh?'"--Tom Nordlie

"Early episodes of H. R. Pufnstuf featured 'Shammy, the clothes-designing clover.' Audiences quickly grew disenchanted with the character after Shammy’s constant backstage feuding with Jimmy’s magic flute, Freddie, was featured in an investigative news report by Kermit the Frog.

Many fans, however, are still insistent that Shammy went on to make regular cameo appearances as the background sets of The Bugaloos and Land of the Lost.

In fact, Shammy went on to a career as a songwriter for the Banana Splits. Before his untimely death during a St. Patrick's Day parade in 1992, he spent several years unsuccessfully attempting to sue the estate of Bob Marley for plagiarizing 'The Tra-La-La Song (One Banana, Two Banana).'"--Stu Hutson

Here's the photo for next week. Again, any real information would be appreciated. Sorry for the small image size, but this photo is just too odd not to feature. Apparently, it's a giant stack of oranges.
